WineTown is back in Florence this weekend and thanks to Studentsville I won two tickets to last night’s inaugural event and two WineCards for all weekend festivities. A photo of me enjoying wine, chocolate truffles and a cigar in Lucca was the winning image of the “I Love WineTown” contest they had on Facebook. 
I guess it pays to be a glutton.
As adventurous as I think I am in the culinary department I never thought I would be sitting at a cute Italian restaurant eating brains. Luckily, they were fried beyond recognition.
If there is one thing that I recommend is to not walk, but bike Lucca and explore. It’s such a fun way to see, eat and drink everything.
This is how lunch in Lucca ended… a bunch of social media obsessed bloggers with fine Italian cigars in our mouths.
This week’s Notte Bianca Florence was another impressive evening filled with numerous events and unique things to see late into the night.

Ponte Vecchio light show
With work being so crazy we started to grocery shop online from our neighboring Florence supermarket, Esselunga, meaning ‘long s’. We typically order large, heavy items like cleaning supplies, wine, bananas, milk… We still go out for fresh meat, but not daily like we used to!
